What to do when you think it's Autism:

Seeking a diagnosis?
​There are a few places that can do Autism Testing. Summit Behavior Services in St. George can do a full diagnostic report.
Summit Behavior Services -  435-275-8911.
If you have medicaid, you will need to first call Southwest Behavioral Health Center to be referred over to Summit Behavior Services.

Autism Diagnosis already confirmed?
You may want to see if your child or adult qualifies for disability. Autism Services can be very expensive, and Medicaid can help ease that burden. Contact Medicaid or complete an application online:

You can also have your child or adult added to the DSPD (Department of Services for People with Disabilities) waiting list. The waiting list is long and is based on need, so the sooner you get on the list, the sooner you may receive support. DSPD can provide funding for services or support you stand in need of like respite care, employment support, behavioral support, day services, training, and environmental adaptation support.

Wanting to know what services or therapy are available for Autism?
There are several options available that can also be covered by insurance.
Applied Behavior Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a great therapy and help to children AND Adults with Autism. They can help with behaviors and daily living skills. You can find resources available under our "Resources" tab.
